Animal Production

The department equips students with knowledge and skills in animal breeding, production and health management. A hands-on approach is employed in a wide range of areas including small livestock, dairy and beef production and apiculture. The college offers specialisation in Fisheries with a focus on fish production, health, processing and marketing. The aim of the curriculum is to promote high animal productivity in a sustainable manner for the country’s food and nutrition security.
